This is a good read for someone that's never been to Disney World. It walks you through the attractions and gives you a sense of what it will be like for your toddler. Since I go to Disney often, I skimmed through most of book, but did find a few tips helpful. I do want to point out in the chapter about flying with a toddler that the author states you have to remove your child from a baby carrier while going through security. This is not true. I have only ever had to remove my child on international flights and my toddler has more than 20 flights under his belt. I also think the book could have done without the final pages about time out. I don't feel it is relevant and not how I parent so it's hard to relate.Product details

This is a great book for the younger Disney fan. Plus it also is a family guide to the best lodging, eating, and fun activities at Disney World. This is a must have.
I was REALLY looking forward to getting this book. Its been 10 years since we went to Disney World, and a lot has certainly changed. For example, this time we are travelling with 2 year old twins. Yikes! So I was looking for some tips and tricks specifically for this age range, and there isn't a lot out there. (Maybe because we must be crazy?) Unfortunately, this is really geared more toward the preschool set (4 and up). If you have a child in that age range, it might be useful, but if you have an actual toddler, skip it.
As a WDW planning nerd, I already knew a lot of the general details on the parks, resorts, etc. That said, I'm so glad I bought this book for the very useful toddler's perspective on everything that I was already familiar with from an adult viewpoint! In particular, her notes about possible issues/highlights of the different rides for little ones was very helpful. A good addition to your WDW library if you're planning your first trip with a toddler!
